As time allows we would encourage you to try out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.21edc.education.ed.ac.uk\/wp\/the-algorithmic-play-activity\/\">algorithmic play activity<\/a> and then to share your findings somewhere in your gallery space. Have some fun with this activity, while at the same time thinking about what your findings might have to say about educational practices. Remember, it is an engagement with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.21edc.education.ed.ac.uk\/wp\/working-speculatively\/\">speculative methods<\/a> (this is the methods focus for this third block to complement the visual and ethnographic methods the last two blocks have explored). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week we will get together to talk about algorithmic culture, including the core readings for this block. Come along with your thoughts and questions and we\u2019re sure to have another lively and interesting discussion. We will meet in <a href=\"https:\/\/hubs.mozilla.com\/\">Mozilla Hubs<\/a> which is a virtual reality meeting space and, following on from our classes in Watch2Gether and Wonder, gives us a further opportunity to consider what teaching and learning can look like in the public spaces of the web. Mozilla Hubs supports virtual reality headsets and Google cardboard, but for our purposes works just as well with a conventional laptop screen.
